Our Team

FamWellMD® is founded and run by board-certified doctors, advanced registered nurse practitioners, aestheticians, laser technologists, and experienced business professionals.

Our medical staff brings many decades of clinical experience, evidence based medicine, and patient centric care. FamWell is very fortunate to have best-in-class medical providers, with deep experience in patient care ranging from complex surgery to childhood nutrition. Safety and efficacy is paramount for our company, driving our mission of providing doctors and their patients with lasting solutions that address overall wellness.

In service and support of our medical staff, FamWell has assembled an executive team with global business, legal, financial, operational, creative, technological, manufacturing, and distribution experience. The company intentionally sought out top-tier and diverse talent that collectively has the experience necessary to support and scale our business. We protect physician autonomy; the individual physician practices that join FamWell maintain sole discretion regarding all aspects of the provision of medical care and the hiring of medical staff.

Martin A. Garcia M.D.

Board Certified – American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology

Dr. Garcia received both his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Vanderbilt University, where he played football and baseball in the SEC. He completed his residency in OB/GYN at the University of Alabama (Birmingham, AL). He has been in private practice since 1983. During his 36 years he has served on numerous medical advisory boards seeking his insight and expertise. As well, he is often called upon to preside over medical staff at various area hospitals.

With a strong belief that patients should receive total care, Dr. Garcia’s patient-centric approach has earned him the trust and dedication of many life-long clients. Among his special interests and skills are gynecological endocrinology and infertility, and the recognition of one of the best high-risk OB/GYNs in all of the greater Jacksonville area. Despite having delivered over 13,000 newborns, Dr. Garcia remains committed to staying on top of advancements in surgical procedures (particularly vaginal rejuvenation), and is certified to perform robotic surgeries.

In an effort to provide total care to his patients, Dr. Garcia co-founded FamWell MD. Dr. Garcia and his wife, Dianne, have four children who are now all adults and ten grandchildren. Outside of work, the family enjoys anything outdoors with an emphasis on physical activity and fitness. He is a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.

Molly Turner, APRN

Molly is a Jacksonville native, graduating from Mandarin High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing cum laude from Florida State University in 2008.

After receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University in 2013, Molly returned to Jacksonville. Molly is an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse and is NCC board certified.

She is married to Brad Turner, with small children, Evelyn, Jack and Thomas. (Jack & Thomas was delivered by Dr. Garcia in 2014). Molly is a caring practitioner, and is a wonderful addition to our team of talented ARNPs.

Michelle Buoye, APRN

Michelle graduated with Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University in 1992 and her Masters Family Practice Nursing from the University of South Carolina in 2003. Michelle grew up in South Florida and served 5 years active duty in the Air Force. Michelle worked in Women’s Healthcare for 15 years before completing cross-training into Aesthetics and Cosmetics working in both Plastics and Dermatology. Michelle joined our practice in 2018, and highly involved in Famwell MD.

Together with her husband, Rich, Michelle is the mother of 2 children, Abby and Adam. She enjoys cycling, traveling, trivia, and kayaking and is an avid Clemson Tiger football fan.

Ashley Ceithaml, DNP

Ashley is from Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra Beach. She is the daughter of our very own Jan Ely, ARNP! Her father, Dr. Eric Ceithaml, was Chief of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and had more than 45 years in his field.

Ashley received her love of medicine and academia from both her parents. She attended Jacksonville University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Medicine in 2021. During her 4-year doctorate program, she worked as an RN at Baptist Medical Center, providing excellent care for postoperative oncology patients and various acute chronic conditions on women’s medical surgery/oncology floor. Ashley is certified by ANCC and AANP.

Ashley’s Capstone project for her doctorate was Body Image Distress and Post Mastectomy Women. Ashley and Jan are both breast cancer survivors, and this drives their passion for women’s health. Ashley grew up around this practice, as she was two years old when Jan began working with Dr. Garcia, it’s a unique “full circle” that brings her to River City OBGYN and FamWell MD.

Karley Monberg, APRN

Karley received her Associate Degree of Nursing from Florida State College in 2017 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of North Florida in 2019. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville 2017 to 2023, with experience in Oncology/Hematology PCU, caring for acutely ill patients; as well as in Labor & Delivery, caring for patients before, during, and after delivery, and assisting in surgical procedures.

Karley earned her Master of Science of Nursing, Advanced Practitioner of Nursing, in 2023 from University of South Alabama, performing many of her clinical rotation hours with River City OBGYN.

Karley is originally from Ormond Beach, Florida. She is faithful to her yoga classes, but is obsessed with her dogs – a Rottweiler and English Bulldog! She is married to Lawrence Monberg, a surgical sales representative in the healthcare industry, and they are expecting their first child in November 2024. She is looking forward to building their life, career, and family here at River City OBGYN and FamWellMD.
